The beautifully finished, strong, and durable bricks produced by Future Bricks have become a symbol of quality, attracting customers who appreciate locally manufactured construction materials that combine strength with elegance.
A Journey That Started with Humble Beginnings
Aimable Urimubenshi’s success story did not begin with wealth or a large investment. Like many young Rwandans, he started his journey by searching for opportunities to earn a living through honest work.
His first step was obtaining a driving license. He worked as a professional driver, saving every small amount he earned and gradually building the foundation for his future.
Later, together with friends, he ventured into small business activities and rented a modest business space in Bwishyura Town, Karongi District. Through patience, commitment, and a determination to improve, the small beginnings gradually developed into bigger opportunities.
What started as a simple effort to survive eventually became a journey of entrepreneurship, investment, and job creation.

Today, Aimable Urimubenshi has invested in several sectors that contribute to Rwanda’s economic growth, including:
- Future Bricks, a modern manufacturing company producing high-quality bricks, paving blocks, and other construction materials.
- Future Supermarket, a retail business providing quality products and services to the community.
- École d’Elite, a private education institution established in partnership with other investors.
- Commercial avocado farming in Rwanda’s Eastern Province.
Through these investments, Aimable has created employment opportunities for young people and adults while contributing to the growth of the private sector.

Future Bricks: A Proud Symbol of Made-in-Rwanda
Among his major achievements is Future Bricks, a company that represents his commitment to Rwanda’s industrial development and the promotion of locally made products.
Located in Rubengera Sector, Karongi District, the factory produces bricks, paving blocks, and other construction materials recognized for their quality, durability, and attractive appearance.
Many customers have embraced Future Bricks because of the strength and finishing of its products. The company’s bricks are designed to provide strong and beautiful buildings, with some customers describing them as materials “as strong as rock.”
For Aimable, Future Bricks is not only a business venture—it is a contribution to Rwanda’s vision of strengthening domestic production and reducing dependence on imported construction materials.

Future Bricks Supporting National Development
The quality of Future Bricks products has enabled the company to participate in important construction projects, including supplying bricks used in the construction of a regional disaster response warehouse valued at more than RWF 359 million.
The warehouse, located in Gisanze Cell, Rubengera Sector, Karongi District, was constructed through collaboration between Karongi District and the Ministry in Charge of Emergency Management (MINEMA).
The facility will serve as a strategic storage center for emergency supplies and food to support disaster response efforts in several districts, including Karongi, Rutsiro, Rubavu, Nyabihu, Ngororero, Nyamasheke, and Rusizi.
For Aimable, supplying materials for such an important national project was a major milestone for his company.
When they purchased our bricks, it gave us confidence and encouraged us to work even harder. The income helped us increase production, employ more workers, and expand our operations.”

Beyond producing construction materials, Future Bricks has become a source of employment for many people in Karongi District. The company provides opportunities for young people and experienced workers while contributing to improving livelihoods in the community.
Aimable believes that Rwanda’s development depends on cooperation between government, private investors, and citizens who are ready to create solutions.
We need to continue strengthening investment, improving businesses, and creating more jobs. Young people, especially those in rural areas, should change the mindset that unemployment is their destiny. When government, partners, and the private sector work together, we can create more innovations, more opportunities, and accelerate development.”
