President Kagame promotes 20 Generals of RDF and National Police Officers

The President and commander in chief of Rwanda Defence Force has promoted RDF and National Police officers and approved the promotion of other ranks.

In RDF, President Paul Kagame has promoted Fred Ibingira and Jacques Musemakweli to the rank of general and lieutenant general, respectively. Ibingira, the chief of staff, Reserve Force, and Musemakweli, the chief of staff, Land Forces, were until yesterday at the rank of lieutenant general and major general, respectively.
