I-CYOGERE (DUST) Unveils “Ineza Ye” — A Powerful Tribute to God’s Goodness

Rwandan artist I-CYOGERE (DUST) Aimable Twagirayezu has officially released a deeply inspiring new song titled “Ineza ye”, a heartfelt testimony born from personal reflection and gratitude to God.

In an exclusive interview with The Source Post, the artist explained the deeper meaning behind both the song and its title, shedding light on the personal experiences that inspired its creation.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, I-CYOGERE shared that “Ineza ye” emerged from moments of quiet reflection on the countless blessings God has bestowed upon him. From the gift of life to divine protection and unexpected miracles, the artist said the song flowed naturally after he looked back and recognized how immense God’s goodness has been in his journey.

The inspiration came quickly one night before I went to sleep,” he revealed during the interview. “The following day, something powerful happened in my life that filled me with joy. I immediately went to the studio.”

A Message of Gratitude and Reflection

During the interview with The Source Post, I-CYOGERE emphasized that the song carries a universal message: regardless of one’s profession or life situation — whether a motorcyclist, driver, doctor, teacher, or student — everyone should take time to reflect on God’s goodness.

He noted that people often focus on hardships, unmet goals, and frustrations, sometimes feeling as though God has forgotten them. However, he encourages listeners to remember the many blessings they have already received.

We tend to remember the wrongs done to us,” he said, “but we rarely train ourselves to remember the good. Reflecting on goodness feeds the mind and protects us from anxiety.”

Beyond spiritual reflection, the song also delivers a social message. In the music video, a character struggling in difficult circumstances receives help from another person. Through this acting, the artist reminds audiences to appreciate the kindness they receive and to extend kindness to others.

A Cross-Continental Production

The production of “Ineza Ye” required significant creative effort. The music video was shot across three countries — Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Senegal — including scenes on Gorée Island and in the Atlantic Ocean between the USA and Senegal. Despite the international scope, much of the footage was captured using a simple telephone, proving that creativity outweighs expensive equipment.

The audio was produced by Masifa, while the video was filmed by Robin Films and Gaby Kara from Senegal. Editing and color grading were handled by Joe.

Bigger Plans for 2026

“Ineza ye” is part of I-CYOGERE’s debut album released in December 2025 titled The Supreme Title of Heavenly Armies and Revelations (The Stars). He announced that he will host a major album launch concert on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Kigali — expected to be the largest concert of his career so far.

Additionally, the artist is preparing to launch his second book, which uniquely combines his own reflections with ideas collected from contributors across Africa, Asia, America, and Europe.

A Call for Support

As he continues to grow his artistic journey, I-CYOGERE calls upon fans and supporters to stream and share “Ineza ye”, engage with the album on digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, and attend the upcoming concert.

Through “Ineza ye”, I-CYOGERE offers more than music — he delivers a reminder to pause, reflect, give thanks, and spread kindness in a world that deeply needs it.
